How This All Came About

l put my first website up way back in 1999 when I was the official magician of the Minnesota Twins. I was one of the first magician's in the area to have his own web presence. It was cool and life was great! Right???

An Accidental Discovery...

In the year 2000, I had a client find me by searching on the web and she booked me. That's when everything changed in my mind. I saw the possibility of doing this over and over again. I asked the client exactly how they found me which taught me a lot of things.

It first taught me that the internet is beginning to replace the yellow pages. As time went on, more and more people would find me on the net. 2nd, there are three main components to the web booking process.... traffic, leads, bookings.

I then realized that most magicians and entertainers don't know the first thing about getting qualified traffic to their website or any traffic for that matter. And for most, it can be such an overwhelming job that they don't even try at all.

HUGE MYTH: If you build it, they will come...

I always wonder to myself when I see magicians and entertainers spending thousands and thousands of dollars on a website, hours and hours in the development process, but don't spend a dime on actually promoting the site. They think just because they have a kick ass site, people will come. If that is you, WAKE UP and smell the coffee!

You need to make sure your site is there providing them with a possible solution to their problem. Their problem is they need to hire entertainment.
